Love offerings go to support our short-term missions programs. SUMMARY:Intercultural Cafe
DESCRIPTION:FBC has the privilege of serving at the Network of Nations Intercultural Café on Friday\, January 31\, 2025. This is an opportunity to reach out to the International students at NIU\, and to reach the nations that are here in our backyard. The café is held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in DeKalb. English Conversation groups begin at 5:45pm. Feel free to bring your kids as the students enjoy talking to both adults and children. \nHere is what we need: Casseroles or Soup\, Vegetarian Main Dishes\, Fresh Fruit and Dessert. We are also need volunteers to serve the food\, socialize with the students\, and help with set up and tear down. The food needs to be dropped of at Immanuel Lutheran Church by 5:45pm on Friday\, January 31. \nIf you would like to supply food but can’t drop it off at Immanuel Lutheran Church\, please let us know\, and we will work out a way to get the food there for you.
