In my life, I have seen country rebellions, family/friend feuds, and disagreements in businesses, organizations and churches, but I have not seen Christians be angry with each other in churches over politics to this level. Today in our country and our churches, we see anger taking an ugly turn. We have anger over elections, politics, and them and us. We don’t want to pray for our country and our rulers that are over us as God has commanded.

I Timothy 2:2 says to pray for kings and all in authority.

Ephesians 4:26-27 gives us the 3 S’s:

S#1 Be angry and SIN not … Anger is a natural emotion, but anger must not cross the line into sin. We don’t resent people, and speak ill of them, because they don’t see things the way we do. Remember we, all, have been redeemed by the blood Christ. We are one in Christ! We serve a great and Holy King.

S#2 Don’t let the SUN go down on your anger … Resolve your differences. Don’t let it fester as some are doing. Find a common ground to settle the matter quickly. We are children of a Holy God.

S#3 Don’t give a place for SATAN … Satan is “like Lion looking who he may devour.” Don’t give him a foothold to come and divide us, Ephesians 4:5,6 One Lord. One faith. One Baptism.

Today let the Lord renew your mind, and resolve in your heart to love people who don’t see it your way.
